Description
With a few attention-grabbing tricks with his bottle of water the rest of the band are on stage and ready to rock.
They open with 'Give it away', giving us a glimpse of what new vocals 'Anthony Kiedis' could do.
The crowd's applause rumbles throughout the first floor as the band prepare for the second song, when the low volume tinny guitar riff springs the audience into excitement, as we realise what is coming next.
The brilliant 'By The Way' is sung passionately by both the band and the crowd with the appropriate lyrics " Standing in line to see the show tonight ", something we are all glad we did.
The set list was filled with old and new Chili Pepper anthems including the classics ' Scar Tissue', 'Californication ' and the never failing ' Under the bridge', mixed in with ' The Zephyr song', 'Cant stop' and the newly released 'Fortune Faded'.
The band ended on an old and well loved track 'Fire' leaving the crowd in high spirits and ready to dance the night away.
